This exceptional rosé wine was born from the meeting between Patrick Bruel (owner of Domaine de Leos) and Nicolas Jaboulet (Maison & Domaines les Alexandrins). The authentic taste and passion for the terroirs that brought them together allowed them to go further in the search for a wine of excellence with the ambition of making a rosé wine like Nicolas Jaboulet makes his great white wines of the 'Hermitage.
- Patrick Bruel: “This is a project that is particularly close to my heart and that we have grown. I am happy to see that it perfectly expresses the identity of our still preserved places and our historic wine-growing regions located at altitude (Ventoux, Luberon and Les Alpilles)."
- Nicolas Jaboulet : "The vines of the Northern Rhône Valley have never given me the opportunity to make a rosé wine of excellence. From then on, the Domaine de Leos project, which was born in a region and in exceptional terroirs, "convinced us. The strong commitment of its owner and his teams to a virtuous economy based on preserved and respectful agriculture is in line with the values that we have always advocated at Domaine Les Alexandrins."
This elegant organic rosé, with a pale “rose petal” color, is a great pure, fresh rosé wine of remarkable fullness. A singular character, born from a subtle blend between the fresh and mountainous character of Ventoux, the spicy and sunny aromatics of the Alpilles and the sweetness of the Luberon, which allows it to be both an aperitif wine and a companion ideal for a meal.
The first nose is seductive, with very floral notes and white-fleshed fruits. The mouth is ample with lots of roundness. The attack is frank, a nice length in the mouth sets in and leaves a pleasant aromatic persistence. Definitely a rosé for lovers of great wine.
Our concern for the greatest respect for the environment led us to completely redesign the bottle. Considerably lighter with a design combining lightness and elegance, its manufacturing allows it to be part of an energy reduction approach and facilitates responsible transport.
The white LEOS “Cuvée Augusta” 2023 was created by the teams at Domaine de LEOS (Patrick BRUEL) and those at Maison & Domaines Les Alexandrins (Nicolas JABOULET). Their common desire to seek excellence, their shared taste for a gastronomic white wine, their passion for the terroirs and their strong commitment to a more virtuous economy brought them together and allowed them to pool their know-how to develop this exceptional organic white.
The Mediterranean character of LEOS blanc comes from a subtle blend of indigenous grape varieties selected with the greatest care: Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette and Colombard each bring their authenticity and singularity, offering LEOS blanc this perfect balance between floral and citrus aromas. , between opulence and delicacy, signature of a great white wine from the south of France.
Superb golden color with gold highlights, shiny and clear. Very fresh and delicate, the nose offers a magnificent, very floral aromatic bouquet, with notes of white flowers subtly mixed with aromas of very ripe citrus fruits such as yuzu and blood orange. Opulent, rich, powerful, the palate offers a beautiful fleshy texture and reveals tasty citrus notes, with a subtle hint of brioche note, a sign of barrel aging. Very long, the finish is extremely elegant, with aromas of white flowers such as lily and orange blossom.
